Today we keep the solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. It only reminds us (religious/catholic believers) of the fact that Mary practiced what she preached in her YES.
During the homily/sermon Fr Felix Fernandes sdb preached at length "responding to the voice of God" just as Mary did. He did you the phrase - "Theistic Believer bUt Practicing Atheist" to which he spoke in the context of Divyadaan. We religious normally meticulously closely religiously sometimes or rather quiet often tend to do things, say things without being conscious and without reflecting on the reality of our lives as being and living our Christian Faith.
We have often heard this saying practice what you preach. I guess it's time to pay head to this saying for life beginning from this lent.
Hopefully it will lead us to conversion of heart, mind, and life.
The Letter is important but equally important is also the the Spirit. To live a life of example, to live a life of witness, to live a life of what you and I are called to live like Mary did.
